One of the most frequently asked questions I receive is how to lose belly fat. The good news is that belly fat is one of the easiest fats on the body to burn.
The bad news is belly fat is the most dangerous fat on the body. An increased waist line leads to disease on the internal organs.
Here are 9 tips to burn that belly FAT
There is nothing like “Spot Reduction”
1000 CRUNCHES per day won’t burn your belly fat because your abs are a minor muscle group. Try to incorporate big muscle group exercises like squats, burpees, pushups and variations. This will burn more fats faster in your workout, stripping off that unwanted belly fat. The key is to keep surprising your body with new workouts and not make your workouts predictable.
Cut that unwanted sugar from your diet.
Abs are made in the kitchen. Eating healthy will give u 80% of your results. Sugars give you instant energy but leave you craving for more. A good healthy diet with your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables will get you those perfect abs.
Sleep
A good night’s sleep goes a long way. This is a simple and effective way to beat those sugar cravings. The more sleep deprived you are the more likely you are to overeat those unhealthy snacks to combat the tired feeling. 7 hours of sleep per night is recommended.
Eat Raw food before your meals.
Consuming raw foods and hour prior to your meals. Raw food in the form of fruit, nuts, seeds before breakfast. Raw veggies like carrots, tomatoes and beets before lunch and dinner. This is essential because a healthy digestive tract allows better absorption and removes waste and reduces bloating etc.
Hydrate well.
Drink water 30 minutes before your meals. It flushes bad bacteria from your body. Drinking water before your meals means that you are less likely to overeat your food and thereby reduce belly fat. Lots of times cravings are just a sign of the body being dehydrated.
Move your body and stay active throughout the day.

“Sitting” is injurious to health. Other than your one hour of workout everyday stay active throughout the day. Also, a 10-minute light walk after every meal aids your body to easily digest the consumed food and reduce belly fat.
Chew slowly and Forget any gadgets while you eat.
People with belly fat are the ones who chew fast or gulp food in big bites.
This is the main reason they feel bloated due to inadequate digestion which in turn causes the body to not absorb the necessary nutrients from the food.
During meal times, do not switch on your television or use your phone. Use of gadgets during meals is the reason for the lack of connection between your food and mind. Unless there is a mind, body and soul connection you start mindlessly overeating thereby causing belly fat.

Finish your last meal at least 3 hours before bedtime
The best time to eat dinner is 3 hours before bed allowing the stomach to properly digest and prepare for sleep. This goes a long way in cutting down the belly fat. Also make sure you eat all your meals at the same time every day. This helps to maintain a body clock and rhythm in the body and the body does not store fat.
More Cardio
There is nothing better than doing a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio workouts everyday. Big cardio exercise like aerobics, step aerobics, cardio kickboxing, running, cycling, skipping along with a good strength training routine which will do wonders to kill that belly fat. Enroll in an online workout class with like minded people to challenge yourself and take the help of a well experienced professional.
The bottom line is that making a few small changes to your eating habits and exercise routine can prove to be an easy and effective way to lose belly fat.
