Lopa Saikia is the founder and owner of Pawbar. Pawbar is a pet studio and host pets’ for short and long stays. Pawbar as a concept was created with the mission to offer the best in class service in terms of grooming and stay, yet affordable.
Lopa is running this company for six years and she bagged the best grooming studio award at Petfed 2018. Apart from all the regular services of pet grooming , Pawbar also offers bubble baths for pets which makes them unique in the Indian market focusing on their overall wellness.
Lopa, hails from Guwahati, Assam. After completing her graduation with major in Economics, she decided to pursue my higher studies and moved to Bangalore. She studied Human Resources and eventually took assignments with large corporates.
After a fairly successful stint in the field of HR for about eight years , she decided to pursue something on her own. Her passion and love for pets led to the launch of Pawbar in the year 2014. Over the years, Lopa has groomed more than five hundred dogs of different breeds and temperament. She was actively involved in animal rescues and she has rehomed more than 100 pets over these years.
She attributes her passion and love towards animals to her parents. According to them, having pets at home is great way to teach responsibility to kids while they grow up.
She believes that growing up with them has nurtured her self esteem and confidence. Pets have a lovely way of building positivity in relationships which further aids in developing a trusting relationship with others.
